79 & 80 Grand Prix Chrome Interchange

Can anyone tell me if the bumpers and the lower chrome parts are the same between the two years and/or does it have more to do if the car is a base/LJ/SJ ? I ask as there is a '80 that is a ways away from me being parted out and it looks like the rear bumper is better than mine.

I just notice you say your LJ has a 4bbl and not a 2bbl?
Factory?

Everything from a '78-'80 GP will fit your car ( body, trim, interior).
Basically... go for it, it will fit.

Yes, it is a factory "W" code-4bbl. I guess what I really should have asked is if the appearance of the parts in question are the same between the two years?

The only visual body parts that change in the '78-'80 (three year) GP's are the grilles and tail lights. All the body and trim parts can be swapped between the three years.

If your car is a '79 LJ, then its the first one I ever heard of. I'm not saying its not true, but every car I cut up or read about says LJ's were only 2bbl.

You get the PHS from GM right?

Thanks for the info, going to check with the guy to see what he has. It looks like the '80 has no a/c and I want to remove that from mine.
