I want to remove the whole box with blower and heater and ac... Is it possible to pull it out of the car with the engine in the car ? Time runs me away so i do not want to make try and error , to find out it does not go out with engine in the car...
Maybe anyone has pics of that withe the whole box out ??
Can the dash be in the car or do i have to remove it ?
Thank you...

It is possible. The front fender on the passenger's side does need to come off though. Also, a fair amount of the A/C related pieces are located behind the dash.

Hmmm....

Ok... Seems not to be done in an hour or two... I think...
Maybe i will do that later then...
Has anyone some pics maybe ?
Thanks , Carsten

not sure how quick you are looking for pics but I'll be removing mine from an 81 Cutty on Wednesday. I'll get pics if you need it.

You may get away with removing just the inner fender.

well i removed mine....it wasn't easy until i realized that i didn't need to save the box itself, then it got extremely easy. Its very hard to reach the bolts under the box, so i just used a BFH, or large hammer, and broke the box apart then removed the bottom bolts.
