79 Grand Prix Posi

i recently acquired a 7.5 posi rear from a special order 79 Grand Prix. The posi is a cone type limited slip but i can't find any information on it. I was wondering if gm made a posi like that or if my posi is not even factory. Any input would help.

I have a 78 Malibu that came with a 2.29 posi and a rear axle from a 78 Cutlass 2.78 posi. From what I have read they are both cone type posi's and they came from the factory that way.
