No friggin way it’s a 9500 dollar car. But it’s their asking price so it is what it is.

One thing I noticed was his listing on eBay states it has a 5.0 ltr engine. If that is correct then it’s not original. I’m pretty certain all ‘79 H/O’s came with the 5.7 ltr 350. He is probably mistaken but just something I noticed.

The 5k was interesting, but $9500 is not. Must have been watching Mecum over the last week.

The underhood shot looks like what my 79 h/o looked like. I’d it was a 305, the accessories would all be reversed.

I'm pretty sure that's an Olds 350 under the hood, most likely the original (?). The offset air cleaner was designed to clear the HEI on the olds 350 and 403. The 1978 Cutlass Calais(s) I've owned had the Chevy 305 and neither had this style of air cleaner.
