79' Monte Carlo

hey everyone! I just purchased a 1979 monte carlo hoping to get some input from everyone here and hints and stuff of that nature!

little story on my car if you care to read:

1979 monte carlo
350 5.7
56,027 miles

Bought it from a dopeboy here in philly so it was kind of molested not gonna lie...first thing i did was take 26's off. She sounds beautiful though and im looking to take her back to her original Chevy Greatness!

TBH I'm having a really hard time finding anything for this car, i found gmclassicparts where i was able to pick up acouple things but I'm really having a hard time finding the lense casing for the rear lights, I need a set 😡 any pointers? thx everyone

P.S its getting COMPLETELY repainted!

I kept reading, thinking you would eventually mention the paint job. lol, good luck, I find lots of parts on craigslist and Ebay.

thank you, and yea its not the the paint job is "bad" per say..it's just that the paint is, BAD. Not to mention it has the bowtie on the back window that says "LEMONHEAD" which made me cringe when I laid eyes on it

wow for sure the paint has got to go! i see ur missing a headlight Bezel, those my friend are hard to find and expensive... hows the interior? post more pictures

thanks guys just really been lurking a lot, I recently aquired a 1988 Monte Carlo T-tops thats in waaaay better condition then the 79' so shes been taking up a lot of my time trying to get her ready for the summer but when I'm done that I'm gonna get right back on the 79' and yes I still can't find those headlight bezels surprisingly though i was able to find a complete set of tail lights for 40$. Right now I'm in desperate need of a new hood emblem because somebody, maybe a ford guy decided to come by and snap it off 😡

It sorta looks like a stock car from the front with the bright paint scheme and no headlights ha ha.
