I want to put an 81 monte tilt column in my 79 monte. I took out my original column and bolted up the 81. However, I ran into a little problem. The shaft that comes out of the end of the 81 column is shorter then the one on my 79. Now I cant hook up the column to that U-joint shaft that is in between the steering box and the column. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
