Tell me about your '79 Cutlass (or '78 even, I suppose)!

My '79 CS is white (no vinyl top) with white seats, red carpet and dash, power windows, locks, seat (60/40 bench) and that is it that I can tell. Maybe courtesy light option? It has trunk, hood, underdash, glovebox lights but maybe that was standard in '79? Im new to G body ownership I suppose so I am trying to get a feel for what other people have- and if this was an unusual car.

i have a 79 cs . it was white with black vinly top the lites you have are the normall my cutlass has all them .it had a bench seat .non power windowsand locks. 14inch ralleys .i have had my car since 1988.it now has corvett ralleys on it with 65 gto bucket seats and bandm pro-stick and auto metter gauges . i stripped the vimly top off of it over 10yrs ago and painted it burgendy. im about to start a redo of my car.im leaving the corvette ralleys on it .will have a pypes duel exhaust with full length headers and double hump crossmeberabd a new chevy 350 and turbo 350 in it with a differt rear end with 3.42 gears in it.i put a chevy engine in my cutlass about 15yrs ago.

Bought mine completely gutted with a 455 hooker long tubes, flowmasters, and a Hurst ratchet shifter. Its now in primer and you can see under the primer that it had a Hurst Clone paint job with rootbeer brown and cream. has power everything. I added a edelbrock intake and a new 800cfm edelbrock carb. rearend is trash right now open diff and best i can tell like 242 or 273 gears. with my best run 14.60.
