8.5 Identification ?

I have an 8.5 rear end out of a Buick or Olds and would like to know exactly what it came in originally. The stamping on the front of the right axle tube is 6TJ G 075. I know this is the code for what I want to know but have no idea where to find the answer I am looking for. Any help???

I think it 1984 Buick Grand National Rearend, Non Posi.

The rear end is a 8.5 10 bolt pontiacgp and where do I look to find those code`s wallys?

I copied the codes from another web forum, few years back when I was looking for a 8.5 for my Monte. I came across a few 8.5's over the years. I keep notes when i come across them, and I have seen a 6TJ in 84 GN to confirm the table.

The listing I have the T type and GN standard is 3TP open and 3TJ posi

and for GN option is 3TE open and 3TX posi

Thanks for the help. The rear end is an 8.5 for a G-body so I guess it is just some wierd code that is lost. No big deal. If I ever find out for sure I will post it.
