Found a hood the other day got the front end all put together today & found out their is 2 kinds of grills.. had to drill holes to hold the grill I have in place might have to change the entire header panel from another Mali if I don’t find the right grill..

I’ll weld the rusted quarter panel I cut out last week tomorrow hopefully it comes out good so I can throw both bumpers on..

Installed a grant steering wheel today pretty easy first time doing one.. welded the rear quarter panel in did the body work it’s all ready.. bought an Ls engine couple days ago I will start pulling out the 305 in a couple days..

Made a center console for the Mali. I’m going to bondo it smooth & color match it to my interior. First time making one came out ok wiring for USB Charger was pretty simple.

Cleaned up the engine took off intake & primed the engine. CTS-V oil pan is all done already. I have a good idea of how I want the engine bay to look. Mali coming along. 👨‍🏭👨‍🔧

I really need help with the wiring. Doing a 5.3 swap with ls1 intake I have 5.3 pcm & a 01 corvette harness I already started depinning following lt1swap.com but I am confused any help please?

So I was putting my engine back together & decided to double check if the 5.3 I bought was really a 5.3 or a 4.8, looked at the casting numbers on the crank & I have myself a 4.8. As you can see it looks really clean inside I’ve already got it all done up I’m still dropping it in I’ll get a bigger lsx engine down the road. (Also had the flat pistons yes)

Don’t dog on the 4.8s too much. They rev like a son of a gun. Not a ton of torque, though.

Yep I’m keeping it I have faith in my 4.8 I’ll slap a lt4 Charger later on or something not really worried 😎
