is it local to you?

yep, only reason I saw is was I had to take a detour off the highway the other day, saw that '81 nose and well, couldn't pass by without stopping.

Is it worth it - maybe to someone wanting a 4 door. Do I think he will get that price - No. Market not the greatest, I can't even get an inquiry about my 81 gp.

I see a lot of 4 door V6 cars in the Midwest where people are asking way too much. $2k is at the upper end of what I'd even consider paying.

I have personal rules about buying g-bodies. It either needs to run good or look good if it's more the $1k. If it's a 4 door, it needs to have a v8 or be cheap if it's a v6. My philosophy is that you can't lose on both ends.....being body work and needing an engine. Yes, a stock v6 means needing an engine IMO.

Chris,
I kind of agree with G-Body Vet's philosophy. You'd have to acquire it for the right price, and of course realize that an engine swap is in it's future.
I still think it would make a cool touring car, regardless of having too many doors.
