I wouldn't have posted the Craigslist link for the whole world to see, the car is probably gone at that price...

That's the point, I might not get it so I posted it in case anyone else was interested.
Like you stated the price ain't bad and the car isn't bad at all very nice start.
So I hope someone from here would grab it before anyone around here where I live would.

But he still has it I am going to check it out tonight.

It does look nice in the few pictures that he posted. However, have the car looked over thoroughly..check for rusty frame rails.. doors and lids out of alignment... shoddy bodywork...poor workmanship under the hood (engine install, etc.) Good luck, I hope it works out for you. It seems cheap.

BTW, what became of your Cutlass?

Yeah I know I am going to be really careful this time around.
Shes sitting in the garage out of gas, I got her running shes actually getting up and going, but after a while of driving I will turn it off and it wont start back up and smoke from the engine like its over heating.
But I also have to do the shift manually to actually get up, the drive works it just won't engage as well.

Still trying to get her a1 just trying to get something that's going to run and not be a project like this one.

I made the mistake of buying a car that ran good so I could work on my other cutlass. It turned out to be more of a problem. If I would have spent the money on my 79 instead of buying the 83 I would have her on the road right now. So my advice would be to just stick that money into your cutlass and then you know what you got and what needs done. That 2000 will got a long way when your working on your car. That's just my .02

That's exactly what my wife is saying, So I might just go ahead and fix my completely.
But I am still going to go look at it for fun just to see it, I love seeing cars.
I will take pictures and everything for you all in case someone her might want it.
