Making progress...
-had to pull the engine out and get some fittings welded on to the holley 302-3 pan even though it has fittings in it already for return lines. But in a g-body, these are right where the cross member is and with the hooker mounts, engine sits too low for anything to fit into the pan in that area. I took it to a welding shop in town but was VERY disappointed with the weld on one of the fittings. Luckily I was able to clean it up enough to get the fitting on there and it will seal.. should be fine. Heck I could of made a mess out of it myself and saved $40 ; ).
-a lot more trial fitting etc to make sure there's room for everything
-tinted the tail lights and blacked out the lice plate holder in the tailgate
-fit up the radiator and shroud with dual 12 inch spal fans
-deleted front side markers
-removed undercoating from the front inner fenders (WHY???)
-wrapped the headers and downpipes
-quick and dirty rattle can paint job for the engine bay side of the fenders and the wheel wells.
-DIY bead roll on some intake tubing with wire crimper home made tool ; )
-began final assembly (hopefully anyway)
-mounted the factory PCM to the firewall with a dirty dingo mount.
A few odds and ends to throw at it before I get to the wiring harness and firing this thing up for the first time.
