Making progress...

-had to pull the engine out and get some fittings welded on to the holley 302-3 pan even though it has fittings in it already for return lines. But in a g-body, these are right where the cross member is and with the hooker mounts, engine sits too low for anything to fit into the pan in that area. I took it to a welding shop in town but was VERY disappointed with the weld on one of the fittings. Luckily I was able to clean it up enough to get the fitting on there and it will seal.. should be fine. Heck I could of made a mess out of it myself and saved $40 ; ).
-a lot more trial fitting etc to make sure there's room for everything
-tinted the tail lights and blacked out the lice plate holder in the tailgate
-fit up the radiator and shroud with dual 12 inch spal fans
-deleted front side markers
-removed undercoating from the front inner fenders (WHY???)
-wrapped the headers and downpipes
-quick and dirty rattle can paint job for the engine bay side of the fenders and the wheel wells.
-DIY bead roll on some intake tubing with wire crimper home made tool ; )
-began final assembly (hopefully anyway)
-mounted the factory PCM to the firewall with a dirty dingo mount.

A few odds and ends to throw at it before I get to the wiring harness and firing this thing up for the first time.

Update time...

Built my own dual 3 inch exhaust, finished plumbing and wiring and got the beast fired up for the first time. First turbo setup for me and I was surprised at how much they muffle the exhaust sound. Have used these Borla mufflers on another build and they are pretty loud. But on this setup, completely tame at idle. Sound great at upper rpms and it has a really cool modern sports car kind of tone. My body guy is making house calls to get things fixed up. Then we'll throw on some black sealer. After that the plan is to plastidip this thing for now. Maybe redo a nice gloss black paint job later if I don't like the dip. Probably satin black body with gloss black trim for the dip. I have some odds and ends to wrap up and then I'm trying to get it into the dyno tuner in the next week or two. Here's a little video from the first run.
