Four doors. Nothing wrong with that. Useful cars....ask the Aussies!
Excuse the Buick in the Olds section, but they are dang near the same car.
I used to have this Century. 1981 If I remember correctly. I bought it for my wife 'round 93. It was a rusty blue car, but it had a great frame and a good running 231 V-6.
I added a set of 14" rallyes, and a diesel exhaust that had dual outlets. Minus the converter, the car had a nice sound. I painted the bottom of the car a lighter blue, and I sandblasted and painted the bumpers to match. I added new bumper plastic, which was still available from GM back then. I separated the colors with a thick, lighter blue pinstripe. I only put one emblem back on it, the Century one on the decklid, and I painted it light blue to match the stripe. I added dual sportmirrors, and I blacked out the grille and headlight bezels while leaving the chrome edges. All in all, it turned out to be a very nice and reliable car. Sadly, I sold it a year later for a nicer, low mileage
Caprice, which became the worst car we ever owned. We miss the Century to this day.
I hope this is inspiring, because it really takes little work to make one of these sedans attractive. Good luck on yours!
