They will "work" however the backspacing is incorrect at 4.25" (factory is 4"), the lip design is completely different and where the valve stem is placed it's more narrow, looks nothing like the factory and if you just have two on your car it will stand out...
Also, the chrome SUCKS as told by many that have purchased.
I had a set that was flaking out of the box and returned them, the set I received wound up pitting and rusting in about a years time.
Also the centers are casted and not stamped steel and they do not use a FULL bead weld, it's only sectioned, not sure how safe that is...

This guy has a couple of NOS H/O wheels.
What, wait...you fuggin with us???

Anyway, to mimic 88hurstolds' observations, I've bought SEVERAL of these wheels over the years from wheelvintiques. They were never very helpful when you had issues, and the chrome was just ok, but sometimes it would pit quickly. I have a set that still looks pretty good though. All are garaged too. But at the time, there were not any reasonable options.

Keep in mind with 83/84 H/O wheels, NOBODY clearcoats them in that crappy-azz clearcoat that GM globbed on there that basically ended up looking like a dog's azz on Sunday. Thank goodness they got smart after 84. Don't understand it as I don't know the exact reason WHY they did it, unless it was to mute the chrome on the car like they did everywhere else. I mean, I don't think they did it for chrome protection IMO because they didn't do it to the 14" SSIIIs. It's like the plastic teeth on the cam gear in your Olds V8s that came from the factory....who would want to put that back in when there are better looking options?

Unless you're going for the showroom restoration look, or already have perfect clearcoated H/O wheels, I highly recommend stripping any deteriorated H/O wheel clearcoat off. It's one of the few times I think the shiny chrome looks 100X better than NOS. I'm glad they got it right with the 442 wheels. (Rant off)
