Found a set at a junkyard for $160.00.Does any body still look for them.Just wondering if I should pick them up and put them away. They have no rings or caps. Thanks Hutch949

I have a set sitting in my garage for 20 years with the rings.......

I was looking to pick up a set of the late-model Camaro steelies and see if I can mask and spray them to look like the grey/silver Malibu Rally wheels I used to have 30 years ago. The caps will require some ingenuity.

There are/was plastic adapter rings that the SS caps would snap on & retained by the lug nuts like the Camaro centers. Haven't seen them anywhere in about 15 years. I Have a set of those wheels & used a set of GN centers with SS emblems in place of the "Turbo 6" ones (they where already gone.)

If you have an interest in using them in the future get them. Otherwise its probably not worth it. The N90s seem to be more desired and theyre hardly worth hoarding. I do like the 83-85 though in their own right.

I already have a set on my 79 Monte Carlo.I just liked the 15 inch wheel and the small black center with black lug nuts better than the 14 inch with the fake lug nut center cap.I was just wondering if other people liked the stock rally of the ss monte.I know the 17inch or bigger wheel is in style now.

Those fake lug centers can be dumped for the earlier style used from '72-'77. I have the early steel version for my set that I used in the '90's.
