STLRegal is right you have to change the Whole header panel, the hood and fenders line up just fine.

I did that to my 82 Regal ( didnt like the front end). Mine has a 87 Header panel with grille off a Turbo T-type. The only major change is too splice in the outer corner turn signal bulb sockets from a 84- 87,they are a 90 degree turn vs straight or vice versa.

The bumper fillers will also have to be from a 84-87, other than that straight bolt on.

(note **** on mine I also swapped out the tailights to a 84-87, easy there too just Remove pop out he sockets and Replace .)

Check out the front remember its a 82

TAAA DAAAA a 87!!!

By the way ,Im not much of a low rider type guy, But Damn Man you hit it on the head with your Regal , sweeeet, bad, and awesome,That COWL hood design has always been in the back of my mind, looks good in real life now. hey tell you buddy Fleck his rocks too.

Wish mine set lower hate the 4x4 look

cool, it looks good, trying to find a setup now, i might run up to one if the bone yards next weekend to check. did any of the header panels not have the ornament on it? i thought i saw the without? fleck's caught fire and burnt up, so he is hatin on mine now! he has an 87 nose from it to give me but he is very unreliable and so i cant count on him.

thanks for the comments

I"ll get you some pics after I get back from work of a friend of mine's 82 Regal drag car with a Buick 455.

He's blacked out the grille, and screwed on tinted light covers, cool look.

But bear with me... I believe there is a company called D.O.T.S, (i think)(I'll check at work) that has a peel and stick tinted Light cover that directly sticks to the headlamp itself.

Keep the chrome bezel, have the darken lens look, and blacked out grille, (I.M.O) keep the top of the grille chrome tho, balances out the chrome on the front.

yeah mine's an 83 too. To mold the top in, i would have to cut it away from the grill slats then re connect them somehow.

mine looks like two seperate peices? why would you have to take it off anyway? just take sand the chrome off, and put some kinda fiberglass or bondo(?) and sand it smooth. right? just mask it off the grille when you go to paint it.

not sure will have to look :?:

Sorry guys couldnt any more info on those tinted peel & stick lens covers
apparently the place that was making either closed or is no longer making them.

On the grill I think either 4 or 6 10mm nuts hold bothe the upper half on the header and the lower half ( grille slats them selves)

The slats are attached , to swing or give in the wind pushing on them, they are attached by a sprung curved peice of metal designed to push the slats constant foward but give.

Hope this helps
