So this one will be my first true frame off. Don't think I have a full pic of car as I got her because I started disassembly right away and found an 80k mile 6.0 that was on a farm truck. A pig farm. Whoooo that motor stank when I brought it in garage. should have power washed it immediately. Oh well

That was June of last year. Stuff takes forever ya know.
Here's the 6 liter I am building for the most average torque. I don't care about horsepower at 6800 anymore. I dig low end thump. Had a Ram with Cummins TD that pegged a chassis dyno at 1200 lb/ft and that's all the dyno could read. It was an old one like some of us. Lol
Anyhow I've learned, for me anyway, I spend 99.9% of the time between 2000 and 4000 rpms. So why not make it good. Don't want a turbo or charger. Yet anyway.

The 6 liter cleaned up well after disassembly and a trip to my local machine/speed shop. magnaflux went well so had her bored with torque plates .030 over for a 6.1L or 370 cubes. 11.3ish to 1 with decked block and shaved heads.
4.030 CP Bullet forged pistons. Forged h beam rods and a BTR cam. Mild. His stage 1 bump stick. Fleabay got me a set of 799's that I sent directly to Total engine airflow for a shave and a haircut (full cnc port) Lol.
Brian Tooley knows his stuff so when I asked what cam with this combo would give me what I'm looking for. I listened. .610/57x with mild duration of 223/[email protected].

Used the Hellwig setup to tighten up the frame. Took me entirely too long. Then degreased and metal prepped and chassis saver.

Bought more stuff. I do that when funds allow and try to get it on sale. Try. sometimes I'm impatient. UMI stage 4 because their stuff made my transam a slot car. 2018 Camaro SS calipers and 18 vette z51 rotors with a bigbrakeupgradekit. Mamo ported Lsxr102. Holley ceramic 1 and 7/8 x 3 collector
