84 Grand Prix paint

Hey all. I just picked up a really nice 84 Grand Prix with only 47k on it. Super clean interior, hasn't been on the road since 06 but runs perfect. I'm running into an issue with the paint though. I need to get a little bit of paint to touch up the bottoms of the quarters and am having trouble with the paint code. The code on the build sheet(yes I have it), body tag and RPO tag list the paint code as 19L. Going through some searches, I have found this to be called Lamp Black. This car is most certainly not black. It is a very dark blue, but not black. Original paint. Can anybody shed some light on this? Thanks.

This is the only one I have right now, its dark and raining outside at the moment.

nice GP! can you take it to a body shop to match it? The paint may have "aged" and not look the same as "fresh" paint...

That's lookin like what I'm gonna do. Thanks for the reply. I was just curious if anyone has run into this before where the paint code is definitely not what is on the car.

19L is the secondary exterior color, all the L codes are secondary exterior colors, if the primary color was lamp black the code is 19U, if the whole car is lamp black it would be 19
