84 hot air turbo hard to start

Sounds like a cool car!
Maybe your choke isn't adjusted properly or the carburetor needs a rebuild?
car hard to start but once started and warmed up car starts easy not sure how or if there is a choke on the hot air turbo or what senses when engine is cold that mite need to be changed or adjusted
If your engine is a 84, then it is a fuel injection engine. I would look into a timing issue, fuel issue, mass air sensor. Does it turn over hard, or does it just not take off right away? If it is a 83 engine then it will have a carb and different likely problems. Have you asked on the TB forum?

I would check your fuel pressure. You may not have enough to start the engine right but enough to keep it running. Your mass air sensor may not be reading right. Does it start better if you floor it? Turbo Buick guys know there stuff, but are hard to deal with some times. May want to ask them. Would love to see some pictures of your car!
