84 Hurst Gear Box

Does anybody know if there is a manual gear box from another application that will fit in my 84 Olds Hurst if you do will I need a different pitman arm. Thanks Steve

I've heard you could use one from an S-10 but I may be wrong

thats a very good question, i think one for an 84 s-10 may work?

The manual box from an S-10 is a direct bolt in. If I remember correctly you have to change the pitman arm too but I can't remember which way it went. Either had to put the one from the cutlass on the s-10 box or the other way around... But the box IS a direct bolt in.

Use the S-10 manual box and the G-body pitman arm.

I believe any '80s S-10 box will work.
