So I hadn't been on here in a while but I sold my '80, and happened to find a '84 H/O a couple days later to replace it. Plans are to just clean it up. Warm up an Olds 350 I had laying around (but keep the 307 around), some handling goodies and a truetrac in the 8.5. Questions/comments?
Some pics...

I know, that was the day I got it, the mudflaps were doubled up. Anyway you all know the specs I'm sure. But Its got 69,000 miles on it, pretty clean, and a completely solid frame, which is rare in Wisconsin.

Nice find! Have an Olds vendor port your heads or buy a ported done up set from them. Let them pick out a nice cam to match your heads and gear. It has 3.73s doesnt it? Add some headers if you don't coat em strip em clean and put several light coats of header paint on them before install. Oh yea good gaskets like www.remflex.com so that you never have leaks or problems. Money well spent. If you are keeping the stock pistons and the blocks never been decked they will probably mill the heads to help your compression which will help with the cam as well.

New inexpensive poly end links, lower control arms & an air bag for the passenger side rear coil along with your posi. The transmission would benefit from a good shift kit like the one www.ckperformance.com sells. Sometimes he has it on special for $99. Regardless a transmission cooler is also inexpensive and will help the transmission live a lot longer. Now you got a fun runner and a great pump gas cruiser. You might also check out www.oldspower.com lots of gbody Cutlasses over there.
