this is a great build and those engines are capable of a lot of power!!!

I look forward to seeing this completed, it should be stunning!

I hope you find a way to incorporate the independent rear suspension and rear differential from the lexus platform as well. Since you are fluent in japanese vehicles, might I ask why not a skyline GTR based swap (RB26DETT)? I suspect I know the answer is because you had a donor lexus kicking around whereas the cost of sourcing GTR parts would cost a grip; all of which I can understand.
yeah i had a wrecked gs300 that i picked up the whole car for 1000 that still ran and drove. since i am using the bulk of that car as far as wiring, drive train, seats. it is a really easy swap. when i switch to the aristo engine it will still be plug and play so all the guages will work normal. i was always a big supra fan which made me always lean more toward toyota over nissan.

Very ambitious project. It's looking good so far. How hard was it to get the dash to fit? How much trouble was it to mount the support bar that the dash mounts to?
the bar was really not bad at all. a lot of the parts for the dash are kind of aligned off of the main beam. but if you want to do a really really easy swap similar to this. get a dash from a 4cyl pontiac g6 or a malibu. everything bolts to the main beam so all you would really have to do is make end mounts for the 6 mounting bolts and then hook up the a/c lines and wiring to the underhood fuse box

You should link this in that 30 mpg post.

It really is excellent work.

Glad someone is finally going through with the much-thought-about "intercontinental swap."
