For the Lexus it would be a lot cheaper to go with the 1 or 2jz plus there's a lot more aftermarket for those cars because a lot of people have dont the jz swaps on these cars because it's a Toyota. Actually in Japan these cars came with jz motors I believe.this is a great build and those engines are capable of a lot of power!!!

I hope you find a way to incorporate the independent rear suspension and rear differential from the lexus platform as well. Since you are fluent in japanese vehicles, might I ask why not a skyline GTR based swap (RB26DETT)? I suspect I know the answer is because you had a donor lexus kicking around whereas the cost of sourcing GTR parts would cost a grip; all of which I can understand.
