Looks like a great car for the price.

Well to find out this car has some gremlins....good thing i paid only $2000. The electrical gremlins due to inept wiring is driving.me nuts. Oh well. This one I need to slow down on and enjoy. Not like my 81...done in 8 months.

After reading the last few posts, I went out & looked at the cowl tag location on my 85' 442....same result, there are 2 holes but neither has been threaded through, previously I just thought it was missing...Maybe someone somewhere will start making custom reproduction cowl tags for our poor 85 442's that were neglected @ birth....

Nice car sweet find for sure, congrats bro!

Thanks man. The 81 is going into storage and the 442 is getting ready to go into my garage for a complete frame off over the winter. 1st step out of the way, I have a great frame to start with. I just need to get the rest of the floor pans cut out and get the trans and motor pulled out of the donor. Will be starting the 85 442 fram off restoration thread soon.

what you dropping in , i mustve missed that post, and screw the cowl tag lol they're virgins and should stay that way
