So as many of you saw this was my $140 find a few weeks back and ive been doing alittle work on the interior, painted the wood trim looking peices silver , minus the door peices..installed a grant wheel i had laying around and of course the b&m pro ratchet shifter and the rear and buckets seats from my 86' project car, i havent got around to a fulll every nock and cranny type clean becuase the weather but id like to soon, and theres a few more parts im gunna put in, like my custom autometer gauge panel i made, my stereo install, also the non colum shift with a grant challenger wheel on it..ect. not bad from a "granny" looking interior to i guess a street machine type look haha.

Nicely done. I have a suggestion for the top insert where the rocket logo was.

Locate an 84-85 taillight rocket emblem (the brushed aluminum style) and install in the center where the old rocket was. It will give that finishing touch to it. I did it on my painted inserts and what a difference.

No problem. I like it because the emblem is similar in size to the "black rocket", and isn't too big. I tried the first one with a euro front emblem and was just too overbearing.

Here's the pic with the 1st emblem. You'll see what I mean by it being too big.

I want to put a small GPS in the place the rocket goes and flush mount it with the panel.

A tomtom should fit nicely I would think.....or a satellite radio unit. Possibilties are endless I reckon.

I like the silver on the dash. Now you need a rallye gauge pac.
Might look good with white faced gauges.
(not my dash)

Are you going to do anything to the rest of the woodgrain?Somehow match it up?

the woodgrain on the doors i dont need to bother doing becuase im swapping the doors from ym 86' project car that are manual locks and windows , no wood trim on them and are way lest rusty inside, also not faded to hell on top 🙂 and im gunna wire in my custom gauge panel as soon as i can figure out how to do it properlly or take it to a rod shop or something
