thats why i went with the silver, will match the metal for the gauge cluster and the gauges itsell, autometer ultra lite's and the base of the shifter , then the bits of chroms all tie in, then the stereo light will be that led blue and sso are the gauges led blue so it all ties in nicely
85' cutlass interior update !

I actually like the wood on mine. However, I was thinking it would be cool to do it in carbon fiber too if I ever go with my non stock interior idea. I have beautiful woodgrain pieces right now and would not hack them, but some of my other sets are ugly and maybe I will experiment on them.
My custom idea: Recaro seats from a 80's BMW 325 ES or a 1990 VW Golf GTI or Jetta GLI ( $15 each at the U pull it), split fold down rear seat from VW Passat ( German seats> American seats), center console with rear A/C vents and cup holders from a 2000 Cadillac ( saw it on E-Bay) and, of course a 3rd pedal and a chrome Hurst shifter poking out of the floor and attached to either a T-5 or a T-56. 🙂
