I may have a radio I just have to check If u want It just pay the shipping

That'd be great if it's the same radio, I'll take it. As crazy as it sounds, I like the stock look on the inside of the car. Thanks!

Thanks for confirming the color, as I've not seen any others, but a guy that my sister went to school with has an 87 that he bought new and it has the green lighting, so that at least starts to make some sense.

I have one with a bad tape deck
I don't think the tape deck on any of these radios will work.
After 30 years the rubber belts dry rot...

I hate to hijack this thread, but I need the same radio for my 1986 442. I don't really care about the cassette, I bought the car for my 15 year old sons and kids that age don't even know what a cassette is.

Here's a picture of it. It has Delco GM on the faceplate. Anyone have a similar radio?

Have you replaced this radio yet? If so, do you still have the old one and are you willing to part with it? I need the faceplate. I have a working radio, but the faceplate is cracked on the corners. I always wondered if this radio was original to my car also as it doesn't match anything in the manual or what I've seen in other cars. I also have had the hardest time finding one like this to replace my faceplate with.
