I love those rims. IMO the Olds rallies are the best looking stock GM rim.

Hey Guys!

So I was surfin CL the other day and found some 1986 Olds 442 wheels and tires for sale in the same area that I bought the car in! I replied to it and turns out it was the guy I bought the car off of! He had it on consignment at a lot. He still had orig rims and tires in his garage. Now he was selling them. I picked them up yesterday. He was really glad to hear I was keeping it stock! As it was all original! He was the second owner. He says he still has books and paper work for it somewhere around, and will call me if he finds them. Us G-Body guys sure love these cars!!! And want to keep them all together!!!
Thanks for all the help and info guys!!

Looks like a nice set. They still have the original Eagle GT's mounted. How much tread is left? Those things are like gold if they are in good shape.

The guy said he never liked them so he put on the ones in one of my other pics here. They had I think he said 14000 miles on them when he took them off. Tread is great. Pine strip and paint are like new. Outter rims have miner scuffs but not barley noticable!! He said he waxed them before he stored them. Good idea I guess!

Nice

I wouldn't trust those tires though, I mean, they are ~27 years old

235/60/15 up front and 255/60/15 in the rear look great.

The tires would be fine to drive locally, I wouldn't drive across country on them. I'd likely take them off & put them up due to their value & find some different tires to put on. But if you rarely drive it & its just local, you'd be fine.

Thanks for the link!!!

This is great! Might be nice to get a spare set just to have.

The 15 x 8's might be nice in the back! Do they tuck in there nicely without rubbing?? 15 x 10's would be too much I assume?
