Anyone know what the exact name of the bracket that holds the shifter onto the transmission hump? Was in the process of installing new interior but noticed the shifter is mounted by 3 out of 4 self tapping screws, and has 2-3 nuts being used as washers to Gove the right height. It was a column shift car that someone turned into a floor shifter. Just looks odd and not secure

Yes, from the factory they were spot welded to the floor and the shifter bolted to them with sheet metal screws. I also have pictures with measurements I took for my brother recently if you need them when you get ready to put the brackets in.

Sweet. I just ordered it from that link you gave me. But Won't get it til Friday, and there's a big car show on saturday.....but I would be happy to receive those pics/measurements anytime.

Front 2 brackets are measured from the front edge of the floor crossmember the rear console bracket is measured from the rear edge of the floor crossmember. The side measurements are taken with the tape hooked on the pinch weld of the drivers side rocker.
