When I bought my 2nd 2+2, the owner had his good 2+2 there with a stick in it.

Here is some cool ideas and links; http://www.performanceplustire.com/prod ... ctID/14160 I would do a 15x7 & 15x8 and or look at a 16x7 & 16x8 relatively cheap so that you have the option of doing big brakes & better control arms etc as well as more modern tires. In 17s there is also https://www.yearone.com/Product/DisplayProduct/403547

LOL Here is a big bad arse Pontiac street engine. http://www.jbp-pontiac.com/FeaturedEngi ... Street.htm They have other big bad pump gas Pontiacs for less built from an original factory Pontiac block. Naturally that would take a 4l80E & controler. http://extremeautomatics.com/transmissions/4l80e.html and a controler at Jegs sells for $700. Butler & Extreme are just examples there are many other companys that provide these.

If you are not Pontiac die hard I kind of like this idea LS to Gbody conversion parts including headers are now on the shelf different places. Plus you can build your trans to handle it and not need a computer controller for it. http://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Perform ... oreDetails
Here is what is takes to have your trans rebuilt with warranty; http://extremeautomatics.com/transmissions/2004r.html
Again Jegs & Extreme are examples.
