I am looking to buy new hood insulation for my 86' Regal and am looking for an aftermarket one that fits close to original, anyone replace theirs with one that fit well and was reasonably priced?

They make repops with 8 holes instead of 9 holes. Or something like that.........

I seen it at the all Buick show at Cecil County for less than half the price of moc.straPydoB-G.

Die hard GN T-Type guy don't like it since it is missing the one hole.

Silly Buick people don't realize there is a tool called a drill and along with a bit it can make holes.

I looked at Mike's Monte's and also found this one on Ebay but the styles are different.
The one below looks more like my stock one from what I remember but I need to cut a hole in it for where I mounted the scoop so just looking for one that fits well.

I bought one made by R.E.M for my GP. The material looks the same as what is pictured above. The quality and fit are excellent in my opinion.

I am interested in what you find. I am curious if a Grand National hood liner will fit a 80 Monte. I have extra curves, but I think the under side is pretty flat. Is there a reses where the hood bump is? Good luck ,and I waiting for what you come up with.

The T-Type one is nice especially if you are going to cut a hole in it since it is a hard/rigid type material that will hold its shape with the cutout

Not to high jack this thread, I am thinking about putting one on my car that has the "Buick turbocharged " printed on it from a Turbo T.
That style is pretty expensive, the plain black one TURNA posted above is $350 plus shipping at GbodyParts.
