87 307 exhuast manifold question

anybody have pics of the cast and stainless manifolds or advice on have to tell the difference theres a lot of grease on mine and i need to know which i have since i need to replace the motor it too cold out side to get the pressure washer out and wash the engine

anybody? or is there a difference in the heads the way the manifolds mount to them ?

the mid 85 and up 307 are rollers and have tubular manifolds, unlike 85 and down which have a log/ typical looking manifold. Yours will look like a piece of exhaust pipe with ports welded to it. I know there has to be a gasket for the tubular stainless ones unlike the cast log ones. I'm also sure the cast iron log ones flow better but not by much.
So to sum it up 81-mid 85 has 5A heads, iron manifolds with HYD. tappet and mid 85-90 has 7A heads, stainless tubular with HYD. roller
