Better brakes and suspension is next, i like drivability 🙂 And if money, time and workspace allows, an LS/t56 combo would greatly improve the funfactor I think 🙂

So, last week it was time to take a look at that noisy rear axle, and since this car is sometimes used in the snow, lsd is a must-have.

not the must usual color on a rear axle, but after sandblasting it we just found some leftover paint from another paint job 🙂

everything went in good, a little tight on the pinion preload but I don`t think it will be a problem

Very cool car.

Odd question... in the first picture yiuhave the fender mounted fiber optic sytem. In later pictures, it appears to be gone.

Do you still have them and would you sell and ship?

Car is sittin' pretty 8) . What type of suspension are you running?

I wish I could figure out how to get pictures on here. I have an '85 442 that is blacked out and is dropped 2". Your car looks sweet.....good work.

Thanks. Springs are Hotchkis set 1902, think it is about 1,5inch drop, shocks are kyb, other than that everything is stock. I`m happy with the height but the car feels a little bouncy, thinkin maybe get some new shocks for it

Thank you. For pictures I suggest uploading them to a photobucket account, then just paste the linkaddress for the pictures where you want them in your posts
Thereare probably other ways to do it to but this one works for me

Body bushings!

Squeaks, rattles and a sagging drivers side body was getting bothersome, so I figured it was time for the dreaded body bushing change.
Bolts came out easy, but rust was eating my frame, so I had to weld 4 of the mount locations.. All in all no problem, did it all in a weekend and I`m glad I did, nice to do something that gives such a big improvement. Now it`s only my extremely wornout control arm bushings to go 😀
