87 442 Wiring Issues

I bought an 87 442 a month or so ago, seems to run good, but there are a few electrical issues, left turn signal doesn't work, (yes bulbs are good) when I push brake pedal, the dash light come on also, previous owner said he had changed the turn signal flasher to get them to work, there must be some issues with the wiring. I have not started to tear into the wiring yet as I'm trying to finish a 71 Cutlass for my son. Question, does anyone sell a new complete wiring harness for these cars, or should I be check the wrecking yards for a wiring harness?

I would check the grounds first before changing anything....

X2...Check grounds in your trunk for the flasher / brake light harness. Unless someone was hacking up the factory harness it likely isnt the problem.

I don't think anyone has done anything to the harness, the car was purchased new by an older woman, now in her 80s, and her son sold it to me after she stopped driving. I'll check for grounding issues, thanks for the replies.
