so i was on cl and there was a guy sellin these, he bought them for his firebird, 93 i think. so i asked if he wanted to trade and he like the 17's so we just swapped. i like these the most. these are what i think im looking for. i am a huge drift fan, and i love the old school muscle car and jdm car scene. with classic 15 & 14" wheels, not the big rims movement. i like it but not for this car. i love when the cars are era/period correct. i love stretched tires and but it has to be done right. just tossin ideas so you guys can see where im goin as it progresses. trust me it will not be as bad as it may sound. i have a standard i will hold it to not make it look ridiculous. i am a fan of car culture in general, regardless of style.
15" centerlines, backs are wider than the fronts. a different back tires is in order, these are 295/50/15 and it only rubs barely at all and thats only cause my shocks are sh*t.
so the backs didnt need the 1.5" spacer adapter i had on the 17's. so.... i put em on the fronts, turned out nice put the fronts and the backs flush.... perfect to me.
flush...
when i got the car it had an old holley. not sure which one but it wasnt as good at the edelbrock we swapped on, washed & cleaned up the engine at the car wash. no detail work just sprayed. cleaned up nicely i think.
next item in order. i will be painting the center star of my wheels with a metallic gold color.
like what i did with these 15 x 10's for my 70' datsun 521
also gonna get on gettin some new shocks and get started looking for lowering springs/coilovers... not sure, just llookin for now and i wanna start looking at disk brake & rearend options. gonna go read some threads. thank you
