yeah man hold out for the right deal when you have the spare cash. keeping a good healthy dd is always the way to go. If i didnt have my truck when i started working on my buick back in late 06 i would have been screwed cuz guess what, its still not done lol. but the one thing i know is its getting done way better than i ever had planned with lots of great little additions i would have never been able to accomplish had i not had a good dd. sometimes the dd needed some work and money so the project had to wait. reliable wheels always should come first. that way you can get too and from work and take care of a family or simply yourself.

Just words of advice from some one just being in your situation a year ago.. Don't sell the honda for a project. if that cutlass guess down for any reason your SOL. I know wants seem to get ahead of our needs but your talking about buying a 25+ year old car not knowing what it's true condition until you really open it up.

Have a DD before starting your project even simple things you may need to do, may run over time wise and cause the car to be down an extra day or 3..

Cutlass' aren't going anywhere and I've found beret deals come along as you wait.. Seems like the prefect car will just show up when your ready to buy. My car was an accident find. Wasn't looking for it, but here she is.

Thank you for this. I am like you said, just going to sit back and wait for something to hit me.
I think I will stick with the honda forever, or until it gives up completely one day.
But hopefully that's years from now.
Hopefully as well something comes when I am financially ready to buy a "project" or good g body.
Just cant wait till them days come.

Well, one thing that he told ya wrong was that it had buckets and console. I just seen the renewed ad on Craigslist with more pictures, it's got black plush interior, but it's a split bench with a b&m like shifter mounted to the floor.

On the regal?

Thanks for this, I understand my cutlass was never done, needed more and more every time I dropped money into it.
It was a nightmare.
But I am just going to wait it out, hope for the best and hen I am financially something nice or at least workable hits me hard.
