So I've been wanting to try and make a ole pickup have a lil bit more power. It's a 305 with only 115000 miles on it. I was thinking some headers and cold air kit with a chip. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do. Not looking for a hot rod or anything like that. I just want a little bit more pep to its step.

Put a 350 in it, but I'm guessing your not looking for anything like that. So I would suggest a new rear end gear ratio would probably be your most noticeable difference in offthe line power.Maybe a higher stall convertor with the supporting mods. Other then that you won't notice much much with bolt ons unless you get a tune with them. A cam and bolt ons will wake it up a lot.
