We have a '3 season' room that we often refer to as a foyer. It's an area between the house and garage that approxiamately 5 years ago my wife had me renovate. It now has a bar, a bar refrigerator, couch and chairs and is quite respectable when people come over - 3 seasons of the year. Of course our '3 seasons' are really only about 6-7 months that includes all of summer and a couple of months before and after summer. I'd guess that our friends north of me have a shorter '3 season' time and those to the south have a longer '3 season' period. Anyway, the off (1) season is highly identifiable at our house

and at this time the 3 season room gets turned into storage for the garage during 'garage season' which implies no one is going out to sit in the 3 season room 😉 lol. Today we are painting in the garage so.....

Anyone else have a room like this?

Forgot to mention - I have a wife that might be considered 'understanding' - she is truly the best!!

New Mexico has a three-season outside. The equivalent ‘off season’ is February and March when all the tarps and car covers are shredded or sucked into the next county by the endless wind.

We have what I call a "breezeway". For all the winter boots, jackets, a bench to sit on to get bundled up, etc. And it houses my hunting closet too.

And I think we established either relocating the snowblower there, or adding a foster child with shovel.... right???
