I hear getting a crossflow condenser is the best. I want to switch to a Cutlass model with connections on the right side. My current one measures 27" wide at the factory mount points by 16 inches high. Where can I get one? I'm going cross eyed checking all these web sights.

Doug,
You can most likely get it from Rock Auto.

Note how all the tubes are tied together into a single 'manifold' on each side = parallel flow....

Jared,
Thank you for posting that information. I was thinking of you, and figured you'd chime in on the subject. I remember we had a discussion about that a few years back.
Once again, thank you sir.

Am I understanding this right? Pretty much any condenser that fits my car is good? I've never done any a/c projects before.

It appears to me that all the modern replacement condensers are parallel flow now. They are a more efficient design and you need that style if you are going to run R134A. The key identifier is that all of the horizontal tubes connect to common 'tanks' or 'manifolds' on each side. If it is this style, you are good to go.

My replacement condenser is a cross flow unit. As Jared said, the new replacements are predominantly the more efficient cross flow type.
