companys like air ride technologies have bolt in kits the hardest part is runing the air lines and some wiring.

so far youre right, it gets a little crazy. but because im running 2 amps and 2 compressors its gonna be even more difficult. my installer buddy told me to use 0 gauge wiring and 1 200 amp fuse. i guess thats my best option.

you can bag a g body for around 800-1200 bucks if you know where to get the stuff. stay away from cheap stuff. places like aim.com products are not always so good. buy brands such as firestone and viair. firestone has been in the game for years, people think air ride is a new thing, how long have 18 wheelers had air ride on them? do you really think the technologie is new? we have just recently adapted it to cars. firestone has been making bags for years, more then any of those other companys have, who are you going to trust? a company that pioneered the industry or a cheap chineese knock off?? if you ever blow a bag or line which i have it sucks....bad. imagine yourself romping down the freeway at 80 mph or so and all of a sudden kaboom from a bag, what next? another kaboom from your car smashing into something such as a guard rail or worse. air ride tech has great stuff, would i pay their prices for it? not a chance in hell! if any of you guys need help get ahold of me, i have done it on my regal and i learned it before it was popular and i paid the price for it, spent alot of money doing it the wrong way. it was cool having the first g body in omaha on bags, it was killer at the car show!

thats good to have someone that knows what theyre talking about on here. im just learning it myself, i have Slam Specialties bags and alot of Viair parts, compressors and such, and i did my research on all of this before i got it. ill be the first gbody in Calgary with air, i know a couple with hydros, and i stress COUPLE alot. we dont have this lowriding thing done on cars here yet, lots of trucks but no cars. i cant wait to roll it out. ill definitely be asking you some questions on this i think.

slam bags are also good because they have internal bump stops which helps alot . i will be happy to help anybody with questions!

there are pics on another topic, the one about the way my 79 should look.... the car is in pieces right now, literally there is nothing bolted to the body or frame right now. i cant post pics at work, they blocked it

haha ya ok. cheap and easy huh? im almost finished my body work now, almost ZERO rust. possibly we could work on yours later in the year...

Well put it this way, Im not going to be spending no more than $2 or $3 grand to fix up the car. its just not worth it ... even for a regal t-top.

Keeping it on the road for the next guy for a couple more years is all Im concerned about. Either that or if I had a place to store it I would probably keep it.

We'll have to keep in touch...
