A little more accomplished today...with pix

SO we had a beautiful day in east Tennessee today. My wife and I got out and worked on the Cutlass today, installing parts I have had put up for a while. (Got my mac-ink.com tshirt on too!)
We removed the bumper trim, and replaced with nice shiny new pieces:

We also installed a new-to-us (used, but unbroken) passenger tail light:

We also installed the 5.4 emblems I picked up (to reflect the 330 ci Olds going in):

We also took some steel wool and windex to the bumpers....what a difference!

This is the 2nd weekend we have had the 87 at our house, and what a good weekend this was in working on it.

I bought it 2007, on eBay. I am fairly certain the link below is from the guy I bought from:

I bought my Bumper chrome from hijm as well......His name is Larry and he's a really good guy to work with.....I like the work....Congrats on bringing your cutty home...

Thanks for the encouragement. My wife enjoys working on the Olds as much as I do.....very lucky to have her. Little by little the car will come together, since we have it closer to work on now. Yes, the emblems aren't what you would typically see on an Olds, but you don't typically see a 333 Olds in and 80's model either. Just another unique part of it. Wonder if somebody will think a modular Ford sits in there? LOL

yep. we are on page 6.....but married now, on March 11!
