What do you guys think about these? I normally don't like the 77-81 Bonnevilles in 4 doors but this one looks good to me with the Rallye II's on it. It has a 455 in it too but it's not running for some reason unknown to the seller. I've always wanted one of these in a coupe....but who knows.
If I came across a decent priced 2 door I surely wouldn't be passing it up!
But as for the one near the house goes, it's one of those cars that have just been sitting. I took a closer look and it hasn't been on the road since '09. It's missing both rocker trims, headliner hanging, some rear bumper peel, and the quarters are starting to bubble at the skirt openings. Black on red with snowflakes on it. It has potential but I'm wondering if there's a proud owner in the picture.
wow, I'm very jealous! I've wanted one of these for a few years now
I was recently watching some videos of a teal colored one, looks completely unsuspecting, and runs mid 12s. But being a Canadian car, it has a chevy big block...
I agree, that's a great looking car. I also don't prefer 4-doors, but the Pontiac B-body of that vintage had the best original styling. The dash is also really cool, as I recall it doesn't look like any of the others.
I love the way those cars look. Especially the back tail lights. And of course the ride quality, smooth and quiet.
Last week, I picked up a 1988 Chevy Caprice Classic Brougham as my current daily driver. It's pretty much in mint shape and I paid $2000 for it. I'll do a separate post with pics.
