because only the 1% will know the difference.... god we're such nerds......

is anyone else bothered by the fact that they used a uber-rare car (1 of 25 miller lite promo cars) to make this thing, or is it just me?
I'm bothered by the fact I had no idea they made them in the first place

Hey, and it has a <yawn> ..... wait for it-

LS3!

Even today's roundy cars are EFI, no? Why not a detuned SB2? Some super-t*ts-now-outlawed 180 degree headers? Basically, more sh*t that was cool about 80's nascrap than just another LS powered restomod.
In the related Petty interview article, he says this:
HR: Of all the cars, what was your favorite one to drive, and which one did you hate the most?
RP:
<Laughs> The one I guess I disliked the most was the 1986 Pontiac, the one that had the swayback deal on it. That car was terrible. Couldn’t keep the back end under the car. It didn’t have enough spoiler and stuff on it to make it work.

Not my cup o' tea, but I like it. I just wouldn't want it. So final analysis lands me at - "meh".

Greetings; My best guess is they were powered by SBC with after market heads that had a Buick part #. And I think that was across the board for all the GM cup cars. All SBC's with Very, very similar heads with different part #'s. I seem to remember each brand had their own valve covers too. This car Really needs a carburetor on a SBC. A Ls is just Plain Wrong, Ole' Bob.

I'm going - as for the Chevy Rallies, not my cup of tea, but to each their own.
