my 700r4 and your th350 both have 1:1 3rd ratios. With my 3.42s, I turn roughly 2900rpm @ 60mph, and 3200rpm @ 70mph if I stay out of overdrive.
... I also use the car on a roughly 50mile commute to work during the summer months... And I could not imagine doing it without overdrive. The noise and racket would be unbearable...

Agree, so I am going to an Extreme Automatics Stage 1 200r4 with a 8.5 rear posi. This should solve all issues. Plus allow me to grow how ever I want to. Which is what I should have done in the first plave. Major props to Brian Weaver from Gbody pars, he has been a great source of knowledge and friendship during my g body expericence, wish I would have met the guy a little sooner.

If you all get a chance support this guy and his business, definately a stand up business.

i have 3.42 gears and runing 25.5" Tires at 60mph i am runing 3,000Rpms and it is not fun! i dont do that much but when i do the 45 min drive sucks....
ill be going to a 2004R soon.
