AC Sealing Washers?

So for my Regal project I bought new everything for the AC and right now i am doing mock ups for the hoses to the compressor.
The hoses came with two thin flat sealing washers and also a bag of O-rings which all seem useless for sealing to the compressor.
The new compressor has one hole that is recessed more than the other and it came with 4 different sealing washers, the one larger diameter one fits well in the shallow hole and the thicker green one is the right diameter and depth for the other hole.
So will the two washers I have chosen be the correct ones for the job or am I looking at this all wrong.
My original compressor had the O-rings in it for sealing which obviously this new one does not.
Compressor is 4 seasons # 58231 and the hoses are 4 seasons # 55479 which is for a 307 Olds.

But did your compressor have O-rings or look like mine?

I used the same compressor. Hoses were stock. I don't remember O rings at the hose block. I just remember using the thin flat washers with the rubber centers. The hose block fit into the depressions in the compressor and I don't think those fat washers would allow that.

The o-rings are for the ends of the hoses.

The O-rings for the hose ends were already installed on the hoses when they came, the two large O-rings I assume would have to be for the compressor side since they are far too big for either hose end

The two flat washers that came on the hose are too thin to do anything since there is no step on the hose end to go in the recess to push on them.
Everything I bought was for a 86' Regal with a 307.

There were changes with the R4 compressor over the years, hence the assortment of washers. O-rings are not used where the manifold end of the hose assembly connects to the compressor.

All I can say is that once bolted down, the manifold sat flush with the compressor. No gap. Have you contacted 4 Seasons for help?
