Accident across from my Autozone

I was walking in my Autozone and heard the impact sound of two vehicles colliding but with all the traffic at the light I couldn't see anything until I left the store a few minutes later.
I never heard the sound of brakes and tire squealing and now I see why.

It's mind boggling how many drivers you see who are oblivious to their surroundings while on the phone. You'd think by now people would have gotten the message. I think the cops should be able to confiscate the phone if they catch someone on the phone when driving.

The best to see the cop texting while driving in a cruiser. Saw that 2013 in 65 MPH traffic.
