I seem to have this affection(affliction?) for 1980 Cutlasses. My hot rod is a 1980 Calais, I bought and dismantled an '80 Supreme for parts, and today I pulled the trigger on yet another '80 Calais.
At $800 including a brand new uninstalled carpet kit, I couldn't pass it up.
It's nicely optioned with ps, pb, pw, pdl, air, tilt, cruise, buckets and console, rallye pac gauges, sport steering wheel, fender mounted signal indicators and the rare "Astro Roof" option.
Plans for this one are to find a healthy used small block in the classifieds to replace the tired 305, and go fairly fast on a budget. It should be a fun summertime toy (hopefully for cheap), and it'll help scratch the 7 year itch I've had since I parked the Juggernaut for it's build.
