I'm looking at a nice cutlass on Craigslist, but it's missing 2 big things on my wish list. I really want bucket seats and a console shifter and I'd really like power windows and locks. So I want to know what it will take to add these thing to it so I can factor that into my cost and determine if the car is worth it for me, or if I should keep looking.
Now I know the universal way to get the power windows and locks, but I'd rather go with the oem swap. How hard is it to swap power windows into a manual window car. (Wirings not an issue) What's the rough cost in parts?
And as for the buckets and console. How hard is it to convert the shifter and steering colum over to center shift? And what's a rough estimate of the parts including buckets, console shifter and steering column and whatever else I don't know about? Using all oem of course.
