Recently swapped out my old stock air cleaner for an open element and (just as pontiacgp warned me last year) the carburetor is running much richer, and I would like to lean it out a little bit. I know there's a rich/lean adjustment screw on the passenger side, but I've read some people adjusting fuel mixture with two screws on the front of the carb, and am wondering which I should do for my model (again a 1978 2bbl Rochester 2GC)

I'd just go to a hotter plug and mebbe adjust the timing a bit
