My whole drive train is brand new. My new edelbrock performer carb seems to need adjusted because the car idles too low in my opinion. Having issues with my alternator belt as well. Chewed up a brand new belt, now on my second.

Car has stalled twice when turning a corner.... Doesn't happen a lot but thats not a good time to stall.

first adjustment should be idle mix screws and throttle screw to get maximum attainable vacuum at idle rpm

It's important to know exactly which model Edelbrock carb you have as well as what elevation you're at and what engine mods you have.

We've had a few Edelbrock's on various cars and they required a bit of tuning to be perfect. Summit sells all the jets and rods individually as well as in kits.

If you talk to an Edelbrock tech, they'll help you decide. Then simply buy the parts for around $20 and you're good to go.
